Bleu Devil Cross Country Wrap Up Historic Season
New Orleans,LA- Dillard Cross Country wrapped up its historic season by competing in the NAIA National Championships, which would be a first for Dillard Cross Country. This season also saw records broken and numerous awards earned. The women's team earned an outright bid after winning their second consecutive GCAC Championship while Devonte Williams was the lone male to compete for the Bleu Devils at nationals. Head coach ,Nile Legania, would see ten of his student-Athletes earn all-conference honors and six total national qualifiers. Throughout the season the Bleu Devils would compete in many division 1 races. Those races ultimately prepared them for the conference championship as well as their national bid. Coach Nile, Who earned another Coach of the Year award, said, " The women's team has been lights out all season". His Assistant Alexis Hunter- London would also receive the honor of Assistant Coach of the Year. They both look to have continued success as they enter into the indoor track season.
