Dillard Advances to Semifinals after Defeating Tougaloo in Quarterfinals

BOSSIER, LA–In a match-up between Tougaloo and Dillard on November 11, 2024, Dillard emerged victorious with a 3-0 win. Dillard dominated the game with set scores of 25-9, 27-25, and 25-12. The statistical breakdown shows Dillard's strong attacking performance, with 43 kills compared to Tougaloo's 18. Vanae Sapp led the Bleu Devils with 12 kills, followed by Sara Da Silva with 10 kills.

Tougaloo struggled to find momentum throughout the game, hitting only .070 as a team. Kaliyah Shavers led Tougaloo with 8 kills, but it wasn't enough to overcome Dillard's strong offensive showing.

The game was held at Billy Montgomery Gymnasium in Bossier City,LA.
