New Orelans, LA - Dillard University's volleyball team kicked off the 2024 season on August 27, 2024, with a challenging match against Louisiana Christian University. The team, showcasing their hard work and determination, faced the visitors but succumbed to a straight-set defeat, ending the match with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, and 25-22.
Despite the loss, the Bleu Devils displayed impressive teamwork and individual performances throughout the match. Sarai Rogers led the team with 6 kills and an outstanding hitting percentage of .545, while Aiko Helper and Makaela Swoopes each contributed 6 kills as well, showcasing their offensive capabilities.
