New Orleans, LA- Dillard Volleyball Closes out a dominant week as they go 2-0. These two wins have closed out the Bleu Devil's home schedule for this season. Dillard sits at second in the conference behind Talladega after a heartbreaking loss in their second matchup. They will look to build off the momentum and carry it with them as they near the GCAC Championship Tournament.
Dillard vs Philander Smith
In a thrilling match between Philander Smith and Dillard, it was Dillard who emerged victorious, defeating Philander Smith in three sets. The final score was 26-24, 25-20, 25-19, in favor of Dillard.
The first set started off with both teams struggling to find their rhythm. Philander Smith had a poor attacking percentage of .027, while Dillard fared slightly better with .086. However, it was Dillard who managed to edge out their opponents, winning the set 26-24.
