New Orleans,LA- In a thrilling match, Dillard fought hard against Mobile but ultimately fell short, losing 3-1. The game started off with Mobile taking the first set 25-22, but Dillard came back strong in the second set, winning a close battle 29-27. However, Mobile regained their momentum in the third and fourth sets, winning 25-20 and 25-18 respectively.
Despite the loss, Dillard showed great effort and determination throughout the game. Cadence Thomas was a standout player for Dillard, leading the team with 11 kills and contributing to their offensive efforts. Vanae Sapp also had a strong performance, recording 6 kills and 13 digs.
On the Mobile side, Corrina Porch-Maxey had an outstanding game, leading her team with 16 kills and a hitting percentage of .393. Kendel Lee Frazer also had a solid performance, contributing 12 kills and 1 ace.
