New Orleans- The Bleu Devils look to continue to build off last week's string of wins as they travel to Little Rock, Arkansas, for their second roundup. Dillard's volleyball team charged full speed ahead this past weekend as they swept all three opponents. Dillard currently sits in the driver's seat in the GCAC by having a conference record of 3-0. They also rank first nationally in kills per set at 14.73 and points per set at 18.7. The Bleu Devil volleyball team also ranks top ten in the nation in service assists per set and assist per set. They look to continue to build on this momentum as they compete at Philander Smith(Little Rock, Arkansas) Saturday(10/9/22) and Sunday(10/10/22).
Codi Fillmore played 11 sets and tallied 42 Kills with a hitting percentage of .388, helping the Bleu Devils go undefeated this past weekend. She also paired the kills with 26 digs. Taylor Hurst led the Bleu devils in assists in every game this past weekend, which totaled out to 81. She had 23 digs this weekend as well. Vanae Sapp led the way for the Bleu devils on the defensive side with 31 digs and 6 Block assists in the 11 sets this past weekend. All the ladies look to aid the Bleu Devils this weekend as they add to their winning streak.
