NEW ORLEANS– In a recent collegiate tennis matchup, Dillard University dominated Lewis-Clark State, securing a comprehensive 7-0 victory in a series of doubles and singles matches on March 22, 2025.

The competition began with doubles matches, where Dillard's team demonstrated their prowess. In the #1 doubles contest, the duo of Weichiao Chen and Hang Nguyen from Dillard delivered a commanding performance against Ana Govea and April Buckingham of Lewis-Clark State, winning 6-0. Similarly, Dillard's Brunella Gomez and Marcelina Kotylak fell to Beatriz Lambru and Paige Noble-Lucas, who claimed a 6-2 win for Lewis-Clark State at the #2 doubles. However, Dillard's Truc Tran and Anja Hriblijan secured another victory in the #3 doubles, overpowering Heidi Moyo and Naiara Montero with an identical 6-0 scoreline.

In singles action, Dillard continued their winning streak. Weichiao Chen delivered a steadfast performance against Beatriz Lambru, winning the match 6-1, 7-5 in the #1 singles.
