Dillard Falls to SLU during George E. Fourmaux Fed Cup Invitationals

HAMMOND, LA– Overall, the Southeastern Louisiana University women's tennis team defeated the Dillard University team in a close match. Aitana Darder, Leana Gomez, Taisia Bolsova, and the doubles pair of Suanarsa/Bierma all secured wins for SLU. However, Wei Chiao Chen of Dillard University managed to secure a win in the singles competition. It was a competitive match between the two teams.–Southeastern came out on top with a 4-1 victory over Dillard in both singles and doubles matches. Aitana Darder, Leana Gomez, and Taisia Bolsova secured wins in singles, while the duo of Suanarsa/Bierma also won their doubles match. Despite a strong effort from Dillard's Wei Chiao Chen in singles, Southeastern's dominance ultimately led them to the win.
