The Dillard Women’s Tennis Team Downed By Lewis-Clark State College, 5-2, on Saturday

Alexandria, Louisiana – The Dillard University women's tennis team (1-4) dropped a 5-2 decision on the road to Lewis-Clark State College (3-5) on Saturday, Feb. 26, at LSUA Courts in Alexandria, Louisiana

The Bleu Devils won the first doubles match with Kaavya Palani – Prerana Koirala defeating LCSC team of Lina Boylan – Andrea Cervantes Bustamante 7-6

The second doubles match went LCSC's way as Catherine Khardina – Elisiva Latu defeated DU's Hafsa Sanhaji – Kayla Henningan 6-1.

The third doubles match was a forfeit for Bonolo Molefe – Kyla Collier

In the first singles match, Dillard's Kaavya Palani fell to Lina Boylan 6-3, 6-1

The second singles match saw Catherine Khardina beat DU's Hafsa Sanhaji 7-5, 6-4.

Dillard's Prerana Koirala secured the 6-0, 6-1 win over LCSC's Elisiva Latu in the third singles match.

The fourth singles match saw LCSC's Bonolo Molefe defeat Dillard's Kayla Henningan 6-0, 6-1

LCSC's won the fifth and sixth singles events by default.

Next, the DU women concludes play this weekend with a 9 a.m. match against LSU Shreveport and then takes on host school LSU Alexandria at 1 p.m. on Feb. 27.
