Coach Ro takes over the program after serving as interim head coach this past season and leading the Bleu Devils to a 5-5 record and semi-final appearance in the GCAC tournament. She would lead the Bleu Devils to a semi-final appearance where they would fall to eventual champion,Rust College.

During her time at Xavier, Coach Ro played a pivotal role in the team's achievements, helping lead them to a conference tournament championship, regular season championship, and two National Tournament appearances. Her dedication and expertise were instrumental in the team's success, and she quickly gained recognition as a rising star in the basketball community.

Prior to her tenure at Xavier, Coach Ro spent an impressive eight seasons at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO), a fellow member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC). She served as the lead Assistant Coach for six seasons and as the Interim Head Coach for two seasons. Under her guidance, the SUNO team achieved remarkable milestones, including two Conference Tournament Championships, a Regular Season Championship, and two National Tournament appearances. The team's most notable accomplishment was reaching the Sweet 16 in 2015, a first in the program's history.

Coach Ro's exceptional coaching abilities have been recognized through numerous accolades received by her players. At SUNO, she coached two conference players of the year, six All Americans in eight seasons, and the 2015 Mid Major HBCU player of the year. She also mentored multiple all-conference players at Xavier, including a conference newcomer of the year and a conference defensive player of the year.
