NEW ORLEANS– On February 15, 2025, Dillard University's women's basketball team hosted Wiley College at Dent Hall, delivering an impressive performance that secured a decisive 76-53 victory. The win showcased Dillard's strong form, further solidifying their outstanding season record of 18-6 overall and 15-2 in conference play. Wiley, on the other hand, fell to a balanced 12-12 season record, with an 8-8 mark in their conference games.

The game got off to a slow start, with Dillard leading by just two points, 8-6, at the end of the first quarter. However, Dillard erupted in the second quarter, outscoring Wiley 29-5, effectively creating a gap that Wiley struggled to overcome for the remainder of the game. Dillard maintained control with a balanced attack in the third quarter, scoring 24 points to Wiley's 25, and closed out the game with a 15-17 score in the final quarter.

Dillard's success was anchored by standout performances from several players. Cassidy Lowe dominated the court with a double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 12 rebounds while also contributing six blocks. D'Mya Ferguson was another key player, adding 19 points and nine rebounds, showcasing her aggressive playstyle by drawing multiple fouls and converting seven out of 11 free throws. Skylar Christmas chipped in 15 points, and Azaria Knox came off the bench with an efficient 11 points, including three successful three-pointers.
