Lady Bleu Devils Complete HBCUAC Crossover Undefeated

NEW ORLEANS–In a hard-fought matchup between Dillard (LA) and Fisk (TN) on January 7, 2025, Dillard came out on top with a final score of 63-56. Dillard's Cassidy Lowe led the scoring with 23 points, supported by strong performances from Imani Rothschild and D'Mya Ferguson who scored 14 and 8 points, respectviely. Cassidy grabbed her 6th double-double of the season with 10 rebounds to accompany her 23 points.

Fisk's Keeli Burton-Oliver led her team with 11 points, but it wasn't enough to secure the win.

Both teams had their struggles throughout the game, with Dillard shooting 48.2% from the field and Fisk shooting 35.3%. Fisk had a slight edge in three-point shooting with 35.7% compared to Dillard's 23.1%.

Overall, it was a competitive game that showcased the talent and determination of both teams. Dillard's strong performance on both ends of the court ultimately secured the victory. With this win, Dillard improved to 11-4 overall and 8-1 in conference play, while Fisk dropped to 6-11 overall and 6-5 in conference play. The Lady Bleu Devils will be playing their first home game of the year against the SUNO Knights on Jan. 24 at 5:00 p.m.
