The Lady Bleu Devils Suffered their First Defeat at the Hands of Stillman
NEW ORLEANS– In a closely contested game on December 14,2024, Stillman College defeated Dillard University with a final score of 65-64. The game took place in New Orleans, LA, and featured strong performances from both teams.
Stillman College was led by Jamariah Turner, who contributed 15 points, along with Farrah Pearson, who added 11 points. Lelia Henderson also had a strong showing with 9 rebounds. The team shot 40.6% from the field, 22.2% from beyond the arc, and 75.0% from the free-throw line.
On the other side, Dillard University had solid performances from Cassidy Lowe, who scored 17 points, and Alexis Gie, who added 15 points. Wynter Taylor also chipped in with 9 points and 6 rebounds. The team shot 45.8% from the field, 26.3% from three-point range, and 78.9% from the free-throw line.
