Lady Bleu Devils Remain Undefeated in Conference Play

NEW ORLEANS–In a hard-fought matchup between Oakwood University and Dillard University, Dillard University came out on top with a final score of 83-76. The game was a close one, with Dillard pulling ahead in overtime to secure the victory, and remaing undefeated in conference play.

Dillard's Skyler Christmas led the way with 28 points off the bench, while Cassidy Lowe contributed 20 points. Lowe secured another double-double tonight with 13 rebounds, making this her third. Oakwood's Saniya Keys put up a strong performance with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Both teams showed determination and skill throughout the game, but Dillard's ability to capitalize on opportunities ultimately gave them the edge. The game was not without its intensity, as the Bleu Devils received a technical foul against Skyler Christmas.

Overall, it was an exciting game that showcased the talent and resilience of both teams. Dillard University's victory adds to their strong season record, while Oakwood University will look to bounce back from the tough loss. The Lady Bleu Devils will be in action again tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. CST against Stillman College.
