Dillard Defeats College of Biblical Studies in Homecoming Match
NEW ORLEANS–In a dominating performance during their homecoming, the Dillard women's basketball team cruised to a 127-29 victory over College Of Biblical Studies on November 9, 2024. Dillard came out strong from the beginning, outscoring their opponents 24-2 in the first quarter and never looking back.
The Bleu Devils had a balanced scoring attack with several players contributing to the team's high point total. Asia Dawson led the team with 20 points off the bench, while Faith Alessandra also had an impressive game with 20 points of her own. Skyler Christmas and Jordyn Rowe also had strong performances, scoring 18 points each.
On the other hand, College Of Biblical Studies struggled to find their rhythm on offense, shooting just 20.4% from the field. K. Moore was the lone bright spot for the team, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in the loss.
Overall, Dillard showcased their offensive firepower and defensive prowess in this game, demonstrating why they are a force to be reckoned with in the NAIA division. With this win, Dillard improved to 2-1 on the season, while College Of Biblical Studies fell to 0-4.
