Bleu Devils Secure Victory Over Bulldogs

Jackson, MS - Dillard University emerged victorious in a closely contested game against Tougaloo College, with a final score of 58-49. 

In the first quarter, Dillard University took an early lead, scoring 18 points compared to Tougaloo College's 13. The second quarter saw a similar pattern, with Dillard University adding another 14 points to their tally, while Tougaloo College managed to score 13. At halftime, Dillard University held a 32-26 lead.

The third quarter saw Dillard University extend their lead further, scoring 15 points compared to Tougaloo College's 10. However, Tougaloo College fought back in the fourth quarter, scoring 13 points to Dillard University's 11. Despite their efforts, Tougaloo College was unable to close the gap, and Dillard University secured the victory.

Cassidy Lowe was a standout player for Dillard University, contributing 11 points and 11 rebounds in her 30 minutes on the court. Sequoia Emmanuel also had a strong performance, scoring 9 points and providing 3 assists. Alexis Gie and Sydni John-Baptist both added 9 points each to the team's total.

For Tougaloo College, Brayland Ferguson was the top performer, scoring 17 points and grabbing an impressive 20 rebounds. 

Overall, it was a hard-fought game between Dillard University and Tougaloo College. Dillard University's strong start and consistent performance throughout the game ultimately secured them the victory.
