Dillard Takes First Win in Dominating Fashion

New Orleans, LA- Dillard dominated Trinity Baptist in their Homecoming matchup, with a final score of 97-67. 

In the first quarter, Dillard took an early lead, outscoring Trinity Baptist 23-11. They continued their dominance in the second quarter, adding another 24 points to their tally while holding Trinity Baptist to 21 points. At halftime, Dillard had a comfortable lead of 47-32.

The third quarter saw Dillard extend their lead even further, scoring 20 points compared to Trinity Baptist's 13. The final quarter was no different, with Dillard outscoring their opponents 30-22 to secure a convincing victory.

Dillard had an impressive shooting performance, with a field goal percentage of 43.7%. They struggled from beyond the arc, making only 2 of their 15 attempted three-pointers. However, their free-throw shooting was exceptional shooting 76.0% from the line.
