Dillard Women's Basketball is Getting Hot
New Orleans,LA- Dillard Women's Basketball is putting together its best string of games this season. They have won 3 out of the last 4 games. That is mostly due to the consistent performance of Ariana Hart on the offensive and defensive end of the court. She had 15 points and 6 points to lead the Bleu Devils to another GCAC conference win. She would have one of her best shooting performances going 7-12 from the field. Although, Hart led the team in points all the Bleu Devils that entered the game scored except 2. The Women's team has been on a roll putting together some great performances as they move into the bottom half of conference play. They will look to carry this momentum for the rest of the season as they prepare to make a championship run. That journey will start in Jackson, Mississippi, as they travel to compete in their third roundup of the season at Tougaloo college. They will have the opportunity to seek revenge against Wiley College who beat the Bleu Devils in Dent Hall earlier this season. they will also get their first look a Fisk University which has consistently had a player of the week in the GCAC.
Jordyn Rowe had 14 points to place her as the second-leading scorer for the Bleu Devils. Cassidy Lowe would have an outstanding night on the boards grabbing 15 rebounds which is a career-high for her. Lowe would also have 5 points to help the Bleu Devils to yet another win. Alexis Gie also knocked in a few buckets to help Dillard knock off cross-town rival SUNO. this game was an overall team game for the Bleu Devils as they beat the Knights by 24.
