Dillard University Bleu Devils Dominate Rust College in a 13-0 Shutout Victory

NEW ORLEANS– In a one-sided contest on March 26, 2025, the Dillard University Bleu Devils decisively defeated Rust College with a final score of 13-0. The game, which took place at Dillard University's home field, showcased the Bleu Devils' offensive prowess and solid pitching, leaving Rust College struggling to find their rhythm.

The Bleu Devils' offense was relentless from the start, scoring two runs in the first inning. Madison Clark's double to center field drove in Nailah Long, and a sacrifice fly from Ca'Terra Bates brought Clark home, setting the tone for the rest of the game.

Dillard University continued their dominance in the second inning with Trenity Okedele hitting a home run that added two more runs to the scoreboard, further extending their lead. The third inning was particularly productive for the Bleu Devils, as they scored eight runs. Highlights included a two-run double by Kyiera Torrence and a triple by De'Asia Davenport, which drove in two more runs. Davenport later stole home, exemplifying the aggressive base running that contributed to Dillard's success.
