NEW ORLEANS– In an exhilarating softball showdown on March 16, 2025, Dillard University narrowly triumphed over Voorhees University in a high-scoring game held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The contest saw both teams testing each other's resilience and skill, culminating in a nail-biting finish with Dillard securing a 12-11 victory.

The game began with Dillard taking an early lead, scoring four runs in the first inning and adding two more in the second. Voorhees struggled initially but made a commendable comeback attempt in the fourth inning by scoring four runs.
