The game, held in New Orleans, showcased the might of Dillard's offense and defense, propelling them to a 6-7 overall record and a 1-0 mark in conference play. Meanwhile, Oakwood fell to 1-8 and 0-1 in their conference.

The game, witnessed by 50 attendees, extended over a duration of 2 hours and 19 minutes. Both teams displayed formidable efforts, but Dillard's tenacity on both ends secured their deserving win.
