Jamaal Morris Jr ran his second 100m of the season with a time of 10.49. Ranking him #9 in the NAIA and #1 in the GCAC. The time is a season’s best and is a top 10 performance on the Dillard University list.
Senior Kaleb McClendon continued his strong senior year. The senior ran the 100m (10.72) and the 200m (21.80) -2.2 headwind.He is the top 5 in both events in the GCAC.
Mark Emilien for the second straight week ran sub 11.00 seconds in the 100m (10.94). The junior is gearing up for a great season.
Darren Petty Jr out for 4 weeks, came back with a vengeance. The junior competed in his first 400m (49.73) of the season and long jump 6.56m.
Freshman Markel Myles who is the #1 400h in the NAIA. Broke the school record in the 110h (15.04). Myles now owns both of the 400h/110h records for the school.
Christopher Watson is waking up in Long jump. The senior leaped to a mark of 6.97m. He also anchored the 4x1 with a time of 40.88.
Men’s throws are getting better every week and this week was no different.
Senior Nobie Harris hit two big Personal best in hammer (36.60m) and Javelin (35.77m). Damion Hammond Jr has entered the chat, the sophomore threw 35.41m In javelin which ranks him in the top 3 in the GCAC. Stanley Rhone is a personal best machine, this is the second consecutive week that Rhone has PR’d in the Javelin (31.41m)
