Dillard Men's Track and Field Competes at Belhaven Invitational

Jackson, MS - Senior Kaleb McClendon back on his home soil of Mississippi did not disappoint on his visit. The senior ran a blistering 21.13 in the 200m. The time of 21.13 is the #7 time in the NAIA, #2 in the GCAC and is "A" standard qualification. McClendon also dropped down and ran the 100m running a season best of 10.69 which is one of the top times in the conference.
Jamaal Morris Jr. the four time NAIA All-american ran his first 400m (47.44) of the season running the #2 time in Dillard history and ranking him #4 in the NAIA. Morris is also part of the 4x1 quartet that has the #3 in the NAIA.
Freshman Markel Myles, who is the #1 400h in the NAIA ran the open 400m with a time of 49.44. The time ranks him #5 in tht GCAC.
Senior Jordan Yates won the 110h with a time of 15.48. Yates is the defending GCAC 100h champion.
Christopher Watson won the long jump with a mark of 6.80m, which ranks him #2 in the GCAC.
Senior throwers Nobie Harris and Jonathan Kitchen had a very solid day. Kitchen finished 9th in shot put (11.75m) and 11th in the discus (32.32m). Harris finished 6th in the hammer throw (31.65m) which is #1 in the GCAC.
