The Dillard Tennis Programs Reschedules Road Matches Against Conference Opponent Blue Mountain College for March 26

New Orleans – The Dillard University tennis programs announced today that they are rescheduling their conference road matches against Blue Mountain College at the Blue Mountain Courts in New Albany, Miss. for March 26 at 11 a.m. The matches were originally scheduled for last weekend, March 12, until weather postponed them.

The 2022 Dillard men's tennis team (1-6) lost 6-1 to Texas Wesleyan on Saturday, March 12 at XULA's Tennis Center. The 2022 roster consists of Felix Hamp, Albert Segura, Youssef Berrajah, Pranav Mehta, Boris Aguma and Yassine Ben Jemaa. The team was picked to finish seventh in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) in their first year of competition. Ben Jemaa and Berrajah have been the team's top singles players with a 3-4 record each. The team's top doubles grouping with a 2-2 record has been Ben Jemaa and Hamp.

The 2022 Dillard women's tennis team (1-8) fell to Texas Wesleyan on Saturday, March 12, at XULA's Tennis Center, The 2022 roster consists of Hafsa Sanhaji, Prerana Koirala,  Kaavya Palani, Christian Jones and Kayla Hennigan. The team was picked to finish seventh in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) in their first year of competition. Palani is 6-2 in singles play this season. The team's top doubles team with a record of 2-4 this season has been Palani and Koirala.

Next, the programs return to the courts to take on crosstown rival Xavier University of Louisiana on March 18 at 3 p.m. at XULA's Tennis Center. The two Dillard teams have a busy week of action as the programs travels to take on the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama on March 19 at the Wallace Tennis Complex starting at 4 p.m.
