The Dillard Men’s Tennis Team Downed by the University of Mobile, 6-1, on Friday

New Orleans – The Dillard University men's tennis team (1-3) took a 6-1 loss against the University of Mobile (4-0) on Friday, Feb. 25, at the City Park Tennis Center.

Mobile won the first doubles match 6-2 with Boris Klingbiel – Joano Okano defeating Albert Segura – Boris Aguma.

The Rams earned the second double match win 6-0 with Nicolas Mougaillard – Santiago Diloreto topping Yassine Ben Jemaa – Felix Hamp.

The third doubles victory went to Mobile 4-2 as Sergio Ruiz – Aoi Kambara beat Dillard's Pranav Mehta – Youssef Berrajah.

In singles play, top seed Okano defeated DU's Ben Jema 6-0, 6-1.

In the second singles match, Klingbiel defeated Dillard's Segura 6-2, 6-3

The third singles grouping had Mougaillard defeating Aguma from Dillard 7-5, 6-3

In fourth-seed of singles play, Mobile's Ruiz earned a hard-fought 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 victory over Hamp

The fifth singles play saw Mobile's Kambara defeat Mehta 6-3, 6-3.

Dillard earned the win in the sixth singles bout as Berrajah beat Santiago Reina 6-1, 6-2

Next, the DU men travels to take on Alcorn State's men's team on Tuesday, March 1, starting at 2 p.m.
