Bio
Kobe Robinson, a New Orleans native, is entering his second year as the assistant coach at Dillard University. In his first season, the team finished as the GCAC (now the HBCUAC) tournament runner-up with two players named as GCAC all-conference selections.
Prior to Dillard, he served as the head postgraduate coach at Shaun Dumas Academy during the 2022-2023 season where he led them to a 25-7 record. In the fall of the 2021 season, Robinson was a graduate assistant at Louisiana Christian University where he oversaw all aspects of the player development program. His coaching career began at the prep school level with Scotland Campus Sports in Scotland, Pennsylvania where they finished the season ranked top 10 nationally during the 2020-2021 season.
Before joining the coaching ranks, Robinson played collegiately at Point University (2016-2020), where he played point guard and was a 2018 Appalachian Athletic Conference all-academic selection. He graduated with a degree in business management with a minor in sports management before obtaining a Master's degree in Kinesiology from Southeastern University in 2021.
During the summer, Robinson spends time investing in the youth as an instructor for Point Guard College (PGC) and as the city director for Pro Skills Basketball (PSB).
