The win improved Mobile's record to 15-4 overall and 8-2 in conference play, while Dillard fell to 13-6 and 9-2 in their respective league standings.

The game commenced with Mobile taking charge early, outscoring Dillard 47-30 in the first half, capitalizing on a strong shooting performance. Mobile's players exhibited superior accuracy, hitting 57.4% from the field and an impressive 44.4% from beyond the arc. In contrast, Dillard struggled with their shooting, managing just 37.9% from the field and a dismal 21.1% from the three-point line.

Leading the scoring for Mobile was Trent Moye, who tallied 17 points, going 5-6 from the field and 4-5 from three-point range.
