Bleu Devils Complete HBCUAC Crossover Undefeated with Win Over Fisk
NEW ORLEANS–In a hard-fought matchup between Dillard (LA) and Fisk (TN) on January 7, 2025, Dillard came out on top with a final score of 87-78. The game, held at Birthright Alumni Arena, saw Dillard improve their record to 11-5 overall and 7-2 in conference play.
Dillard's Khalif Allim led the team with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks off the bench while Tory Cargo provided a significant contribution with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Dillard shot an impressive 50% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range.
On the other side, Fisk's Michael Ashley had a standout performance with 21 points and 21 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Fisk struggled with their shooting, only making 35.1% of their field goal attempts and 37.5% of their three-point attempts.
