Bleu Devils Split Games in AAUL HBCU Classic
Austin, TX- Dillard had the opportunity to compete in the AAUL HBCU Classis, an annual event designed to showcase small HBCUs. The event occurs in Austin,TX, and the games are played at the HEB Center. This year's classic was the first time the GCAC and RRAC would face off to see who would win the most games. The conference that won the most games would take home a trophy and a plaque for each conference member. The GCAC went 5-1, with Dillard beating Huston-Tillotson and falling to Texas College.
Dillard vs Texas College
In a November 2, 2023 game, Texas College emerged victorious against Dillard (La.) with a final score of 70-60. The game took place at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
From the start, Texas College took control of the game, leading Dillard by 12 points at halftime with a score of 41-29. Dillard fought back in the second half, outscoring their opponents 31-29, but it wasn't enough to secure a win.
