Dillard Men’s Basketball’s Rajhan Billingsley Named the GCAC Player of the Week
New Orleans– Dillard men's basketball junior forward Rajhan Billingsley was named the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) Player of the Week for the first time this season and in his career on Feb. 7, the conference announced this afternoon.
Billingsley averaged 20 points and 5.0 rebounds a game for Dillard last week as the program defeated Rust College (2/3) and Fisk University (2/5). He scored a career-high 23 points in the victory over Rust. Billingsley scored 14 of his 23 in the second half. He led the team in scoring again two days later in the road win over Fisk University in totaling 17 points. He also pulled down seven rebounds and had a steal. Billingsley shot 48.1 percent from the field (13-for-27), 68.8 percent from three-point range (11-for-16) and 75 percent from the line (3-for-4).
This is the sixth time this year that a Dillard men's basketball player has been named the GCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Next, the Dillard men's basketball team (8-14) hosts Tougaloo College for the Bleu Devil Classic on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Dent Hall at 7:30 p.m.
