Cheer Devils Make History

New Orleans,LA- Dillard Cheer made history by winning their first-place trophy this past weekend. The Cheer Devils put on a great showing in Battle in the Big Easy which was hosted by XULA. The Cheer Devils would end the first round with a score of 74.08 and the second round with a score of 75.9. They would close out the competition with a final score of 75.44. Dillard cheer is still in the beginning stages of the competition and showing constant progress. Along with the team's success three Cheer Devils were elected group all-conference team: Trinity Alexander, Ashantis Balancier, and Kaylyn Turner. This weekend was a step in the right direction for the Cheer Devils as they look to qualify for NAIA nationals.
