Bio

Malik Blaise joined the Dillard Baseball program during the 2024 spring season as a part-time, volunteer assistant coach. 

Blaise’s collegiate baseball career started at Southern University in Baton Rouge in 2015 and in 2019 he finished as a first team all-conference selection and conference champion. After he graduated, he continued his career in the USPBL playing professional baseball for the Utica Unicorns. After winning 2 championships with the Unicorns, Blaise finished off his professional career in the Pioneer League playing for the Ogden Raptors and the Grand Junction Rockies.

In 2020, he was also the assistant baseball coach for Nunez Community College. Blaise served as an assistant baseball coach in the MLB Draft League during the summer of 2024. He will now be working as a fill-time assitant, coaching the infielders and serving as the Recruiting Coordinator.
