TALLADEGA,AL –In a high-scoring game on March 1, 2025, Talladega College (AL) continued their impressive start to the season with an 11-4 victory over Dillard University (LA) at home. The match showcased Talladega's strong offensive lineup and dominant pitching, maintaining their perfect conference record at 8-0 and improving their overall record to 14-4. Meanwhile, Dillard fell to a 9-6 overall record and 4-4 in the conference.
The game began slowly, with neither team scoring in the first two innings. However, Talladega soon found their rhythm in the third inning, thanks to a series of hits that led to the first three runs of the game. V. Rivera's single brought J. Catala home, followed by a 2-RBI double from A. Jackson, giving Talladega a 3-0 lead.
Dillard attempted to rally in the fifth inning, scoring two runs. Braylon Guerin and Jalen Ayers contributed with an RBI single and a hit by pitch, respectively.
