Dillard University Surpasses All HBCUAC Conference Schools in Learfield Cup Standings

The Learfield Cup, administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), recognizes the top-performing athletic programs across the nation based on their athletic achievements, conference standings, postseason performances, and overall program strength. Dillard University's remarkable performance this season is a testament to the dedication of its student-athletes, coaches, and support staff.

 

"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes and coaching staff for their hard work, resilience, and dedication," said Dillard University Athletic Director Dr. Linda Bell. "Finishing ahead of all our peers in the HBCUAC underscores our commitment to fostering competitive excellence while maintaining a focus on academic success and community engagement." 

 

The university finished 75th with 261 points. The rest of the univerisities in the conference finished between 123rd and 171st.

 

This accomplishment not only elevates Dillard University's athletic program but also reinforces its reputation as a leader in HBCU sports and education. The university plans to leverage this momentum to further enhance its athletic facilities, recruitment efforts, and academic initiatives aimed at student-athletes.
