Mobile Ends Dillard's Six-Game Win Streak

MOBILE, AL–The Mobile women's volleyball team dominated Dillard in a three-set match on October 29, 2024, with scores of 25-19, 25-20, and 25-19. Dillard put up a fight but ultimately fell short against Mobile, who improved their record to 23-4 overall and 10-1 in conference play.

Mobile's offense was led by Emily Osborne, who recorded 10 kills, and Layton Adams, who added 9 kills and 17 assists. Defensively, Jaci Drinnon stood out with 23 digs, while Emma Hampton and Aspen Adams contributed key blocks.

On the other side, Dillard struggled to find their rhythm offensively, with Vanae Sapp leading the team with 8 kills. Nanyelis Moreno and Tyramae Fautanu each had 12 assists to set up their teammates, but Dillard couldn't overcome Mobile's strong performance.

Overall, Mobile's efficient offense and solid defense proved to be too much for Dillard to handle in this matchup. With the win, Mobile continues to assert their dominance in the conference, while Dillard will look to bounce back in their next game.
