Dillard Falls to Louisiana Christian in Season Opener

Pineville, LA -Louisiana Christian emerged victorious with a final score of 10-5.

Louisiana Christian got off to a strong start, scoring four runs in the second inning. H. Waxley played a crucial role in this inning, driving in two runs with a single. Additionally, an error by Dillard's catcher allowed Waxley to score, giving Louisiana Christian a 4-0 lead.

Dillard managed to score two runs in the third inning, thanks to a single by J. Ayers that brought in two runners. However, Louisiana Christian responded with two more runs in the bottom of the third, extending their lead to 6-2. Dillard fought back in the fourth inning, scoring three runs to narrow the gap to 6-5. C. Clark grounded out to bring in a run, and T. McColloug and G. Alveraz also contributed with RBI hits. However, Louisiana Christian quickly regained control in the bottom of the fourth. In the end, Louisiana Christian held on to their lead, preventing Dillard from scoring any more runs. The game concluded with a final score of 10-5 in favor of Louisiana Christian.
